Relationship Between Heart Disease Incidence and Health Behaviors in Urban Residents

Abstract
This study is to analyze the relationship between heart disease incidence and health behaviors in urban residents. A case-control study was carried out on 53 cases matched for age and sex with 61 controls in a general hospital. Analyzing risk factor¡¯s cross risk, in case of the current smoker odds ratio was 3.147(95% confidence interval 1.216-5.794), which shows that the outbreak of heart disease cross risk is statistically significant than those don¡¯t smoke was trend=5.135, which also showed statistically significant difference(p=0.0407). The odds ratio of the carnivorous massive eating was 2.418 (95% confidence interval 1.792-4.805) and the result of the trend analysis was trend=5.137, which shows statistically difference(p=0.0391). To prevent the heart disease incidence, nonsmoking must be mandatory, must moderate drinking alcohol and meat diet, and must precede obesity management.
